Properties
WZ016 is composed of cationic surfactant, wettability alteration, mixed acid as the main material, and corrosion inhibitor as the auxiliary material. It is made by heating and cooling process. It can remove formation water lock and improve reservoir permeability.
Usage
Water locks in gas well is a common phenomenon, especially in the late stage of development or in the presence of foreign liquids. The reservoir water lock will reduce the gas output, worsen the production condition, even suspend the production of the gas well and make the recovery difficult, end up with reduction of recovery ratio.
The water lock removal procedure: squeeze special water lock removal agents into formation (after agents into the well, plus the energy: liquid nitrogen, high pressure gas injection and so on, so the agents infiltrate the strata faster and farther, and blockage effect can be better; If external energy are unavailable, the agents can go into the stratum through gas and liquid displacement in well.)
Three effects generate after the agent enters the stratum: one is to reduce the flow resistance of the liquid in the crack, the second is to connect the capillary locked by the water, and the third is to reduce the water saturation of the reservoir.
The well condition before water lock removal:
1. Wells that can`t restore production because of the invasion of foreign liquids during workover.
2. Wells that can`t restore production because of the improvement of reservoir water saturation during long-term shut-in which leads to severe water lock.
3. Gas-water production wells and its output of water is less than 3m3 per day.
4. Wells and its original formation permeability is less than 10 to 4 um2 .
The results of water lock removal:
1. Restored of reservoir capacity
2. Increased the yield of gas- water production wells.
3. Prolonged the production cycle of gas-water production wells and improved recovery ratio.
4. The input and output ratio is greater than 1:10.
